Marl and clay.
After a soft pressing the skin remains in contact with the must for a short time. The must temperature is technologically controlled. The secondary fermentation takes place inside the bottle.
It has a charming pink color with bright copper highlights and a fine perlage that rises in abundance to the rim of the glass. The defining aroma of redcurrant and raspberry mingles with deep fruity notes of blackberry and blueberry. A fragrance of powder and rose petals lead to thoughts of vanity and seduction. Then, hints of bread and dried orange re-focus the senses on what is an authentic Metodo Classico spumante. The delicate mousse gives it softness and a refreshing acidity leaves the palate with a clean sensation. The medium length finish has a pleasant flavour of red fruits.
Lenght of ageing: 30 months settling on the lees and 3 more months after bottling. Potential for ageing: can drink now, but it has potential for ageing. Alchol level: 13% vol.Lorena Lancia, best Sommelier Fisar 2016, Trofeo Rastal.
